Good for our team

Our team needed IronXL for .NET. The purchase for the Enterprise Software License was handled pretty fast. Got the quote quickly and the setup was easy for our developers. It was a good experience.

Consistent performance, quick download

I've ordered from Iron Software several times now, usually for new projects or team expansions. This time I needed an additional Professional License for IronPDF. Just like before, the process was smooth. I got the license key almost instantly after checkout. It's that reliability that keeps me coming back, knowing I'll get what I need without any fuss. The product always works as expected.

Easy to buy, works well

I grabbed the Lite License for IronOCR because I just needed it for a small project. The website was super easy to navigate, which was nice. Didn't have any trouble finding what I needed or checking out. The download was fast too. It was a pretty straightforward experience overall, no weird surprises. Happy with how it went.

Are their licenses perpetual or subscription based? Like, do I own it forever or do I have to keep paying every year?

J Julia G. 2 weeks ago
Their standard licenses are perpetual, so you own that version forever. You pay for updates/support usually on an annual basis if you want them.

E Elizabeth Anderson 2 weeks ago
They're perpetual. You get the version you buy indefinitely. If you want new features and updates past the initial period, that's usually where the subscription for support comes in, but the core license is yours.

Anyone know if you can upgrade your license later? Say I buy the Lite version of IronXL, but then I need the Professional features down the road?

I Ian W. 1 week ago
Yeah, you can totally upgrade. I started with a Lite license for IronOCR and upgraded to Professional a few months later. Just contact their sales or support.

Yep, upgrades are possible. They make it pretty straightforward. You just pay the difference, I think.

Just wondering, how do you actually apply a promo code on their site? Is it during checkout or do you have to do something beforehand?

M Matt B. 2 weeks ago
It's during checkout. There's a field for it on the licensing page where you pick your product and quantity.

D Donna G. 2 weeks ago
Yeah, it's pretty standard. Just put it in the box at checkout before you finalize the payment. Sometimes bundles apply discounts automatically, though, so watch out for that.

Thinking of trying IronPDF. Do they offer a free trial, or do you just have to buy it to test it out fully?

D David F. 2 weeks ago
They have a 30-day free trial. It's fully functional, so you can really kick the tires before committing.

E Eric S. 2 weeks ago
Definitely a free trial. I used it for IronDrawing too. Just download it and you get 30 days.

How does IronPDF stack up against something like iText? I'm trying to decide between the two for a C# project.

R Robert 2 weeks ago
I've used both. IronPDF felt a bit more intuitive for C# development, especially with their documentation and examples. iText can be a bit more fiddly sometimes.

D Danielle Ramirez 2 weeks ago
IronPDF is pretty solid. I found it easier to integrate with .NET stuff compared to iText, which sometimes felt a bit less C# native, if that makes sense. Performance was good on both, but I stuck with IronPDF for the dev experience.
